EXERCISE THERAPY

Our programs for you are coordinated by two talented people with considerable experience in the field of Physical fitness, adaptive Physical therapy and we have a lot of fun while we do our exercises.

Group 2

There are two groups to choose from. Judy is a kiniesologist by training and she leads the more challenged group. Through a mixture of aerobic and strength building exercises she takes into consideration our physical challenges and customizes a program that meets are needs.

Judy’s commentary describes how to do the exercise and which muscles are used. The class lasts for an hour and often makes use of props or exercise equipment such as exercise balls, hand weights, thera bands, sponge like tubes, and I`ve probably forgot a few things as well.

At the end of each workout we have a cool down/stretch period. All in all it feels like most muscles in your body get a workout.
Lastly Judy likes to leave us with a little homework, whether it is balancing against the countertop, getting up from a chair, or sometimes easy squats. The hour goes by quickly with a few laughs mixed in.

Group 2
Alexis, trained exercise leader, brings her many years of experience, leading exercise classes at many different venus to give us an ever changing dynamic workout. She knows are conditions well, our strenghts and our limitations and customizes a program that meets our needs. She uses the equipment of hand wieghts, thera bands, rubble balls, yoga cushoms to create a variety of aerobic, strenght and flexibility exercises that provide us with physical therapy.
